About this role
As a Customer Vehicle Service Agent at SIXT, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences for clients from around the globe. You will ensure every vehicle is spotless and rental-ready by cleaning, polishing, and performing basic maintenance checks.
Your day-to-day includes inspecting incoming vehicles for damage, managing service alerts, and coordinating with the team to address maintenance needs. You will also keep the lot organized for smooth traffic flow, tag vehicles for maintenance, and shuttle cars between locations, dealerships, and car washes.
You will assist customers with a friendly welcome, check vehicles for belongings, and handle questions about returns, charges, or additional services. This role is based at Norfolk Airport and involves working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience in vehicle service or a related field
- Experience in car rental, automotive maintenance, or dealership services is preferred
- Strong verbal communication abilities to interact effectively with customers, coworkers, and management
- Attention to detail to discreetly check vehicles for damage, verify fuel levels, and accurately document findings
- At least 18 years old, hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, including day or evening shifts, and comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- Physically able to move in and out of vehicles throughout your shift
- Willing to wear a company uniform; speaking other languages is a plus
Responsibilities
- Ensure every vehicle is spotless and rental-ready by cleaning, polishing, and performing basic maintenance checks from fluid levels to tire pressure
- Inspect incoming vehicles for damage, manage service alerts, and coordinate with the team to address any maintenance needs
- Keep the lot organized for smooth traffic flow, tagging vehicles for maintenance, and moving cars to proper locations efficiently
- Assist customers with a friendly welcome, check vehicles for belongings, and handle questions about returns, charges, or additional services
- Shuttle cars between locations, dealerships, and car washes, ensuring vehicles are always where they need to be and ready for the next rental
- Document vehicle conditions meticulously and identify any damage
