The Air Cargo Agent handles computer data entry, prepares all flight documents, and interfaces with U.S. Customs. Prepare import and export documentation, accept and distribute cargo per air carrier and DOT regulations. Comply with WFS site security procedures and report breaches.

Solicit orders, talk with customers to complete sales, quote prices, and prepare sales contracts. Estimate delivery dates based on company schedules and move cargo up to 70lbs. Work in fast-paced eight-hour shifts, drive cargo handling equipment, and retrieve documents to/from aircraft.

Operate across 164 airport locations in 18 countries and 5 continents as part of expert teams. Remain cognizant of staff, security contractors, and visitors' activities. Strive to be an exceptional leader in the industry with growth opportunities.

Requirements

HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent
Valid driver's license and Port Authority or Airport Authority permit (if applicable)
At least 18 years of age if position requires driving cargo handling equipment
Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
Ability to handle stress of a fast-paced eight-hour shift
Ability to drive all cargo handling equipment
Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language

Responsibilities

Perform computer data entry and prepare all flight documents
Interface with U.S. Customs and prepare import and export documentation
Accept and distribute cargo in accordance with air carrier and DOT regulations
Generate lists of customers for sales leads and solicit orders
Quote prices and terms, prepare sales contracts for orders obtained
Estimate date of delivery to customer based on company schedules
Move cargo up to 70lbs and comply with site security procedures
Drive all cargo handling equipment and retrieve/deliver documents to/from aircraft
