As an Airfield Operations and Assessor SME, you'll bring your technical background to work on projects for USCENTCOM. You'll plan and support Mission Assurance Assessments on Airfields in the USCENTCOM AOR. You'll help identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes, and instrumentation related to threats in the USCENTCOM AOR.
You'll impact the work we do for USCENTCOM and the solutions we deliver for military missions, defense planning, national security, strategic planning, and defense mission planning. Coordinate with aircrews, air traffic control, and various agencies that provide for safe operation of aircraft in the airfield environment. Work in a dynamic workspace with host nation leadership as a team-oriented individual.

Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the Department of Defense or government agencies
- 8+ years of experience in airfield operations and management
- 3+ years of experience conducting airfield inspections and checks utilizing DoD Mission Assurance Benchmarks
- 3+ years of experience with strategic-level briefing, crafting presentations, and senior-level report writing
- 3+ years of experience coordinating with aircrews, air traffic control, and various agencies
- Ability to coordinate with host nation leadership and adapt to a dynamic workspace
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- TS/SCI clearance
Responsibilities
- Plan and support Mission Assurance Assessments on Airfields in the USCENTCOM AOR
- Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes, and instrumentation related to threats
- Conduct airfield inspections and checks, including runways, taxiways, aprons, pavements, arresting systems, signs, lights, and airfield clearance areas utilizing DoD Mission Assurance Benchmarks
- Coordinate with aircrews, air traffic control, and various agencies for safe operation of aircraft in the airfield environment
- Provide strategic-level briefing, craft presentations, and senior-level report writing
- Coordinate with host nation leadership in a dynamic workspace
