The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all facility systems. Requirements

  • Experience putting together material lists and ordering supplies
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
  • Experience with circuit design, 480V and 208V three-phase systems, motors, drives, PLCs, and related equipment
  • Metal fabrication skills including MIG/TIG/stick welding and operation of brake, shear, and ironworking tools

Responsibilities

  • Oversee safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation and maintenance of all facility systems
  • Lead and coordinate activities of small groups of maintenance personnel
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with strong organizational and planning capabilities
  • Prepare material lists for projects and order necessary supplies
  • Coordinate with contractors and read and understand blueprints and schematics
  • Perform circuit design, load planning, troubleshooting, and installation for electrical systems including 480V and 208V three-phase
  • Conduct structural steel and sheet metal fabrication using MIG/TIG/stick welding and brake, shear, and roll equipment
  • Operate machining equipment including lathe, Bridgeport, and drill presses
