About this role
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician 3, you will perform advanced maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and building systems in accordance with standard operating procedures, manufacturer specifications, and safety requirements. This position requires a strong technical foundation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
You will handle complex troubleshooting and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems while leading preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Accurate documentation and timely completion within the CMMS support reliable facility operations across multiple sites.
You serve as a technical expert who leads by example, shares knowledge, and helps raise quality and safety performance. Collaboration with supervisors, clients, and other departments ensures maintenance activities are prioritized to minimize operational downtime.
The role offers training, development, and advancement opportunities in a clean and cutting-edge facility. A safety-first culture guides all work while you model best practices and meet C&W Services and OSHA standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in facilities or industrial maintenance.
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Proven ability to lead by example and support team development.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently on complex systems.
- Proficiency using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Lead and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs, ensuring documentation accuracy and timely completion within CMMS.
- Identify root causes of recurring equipment issues and recommend long-term, sustainable solutions.
- Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and teamwork while informally guiding and mentoring lower-level technicians.
- Champion safety culture by modeling best practices and ensuring all work meets C&W Services and OSHA standards.
- Collaborate effectively with supervisors, clients, and other departments to prioritize maintenance activities and minimize operational downtime.
