Maintain work areas, ground support equipment, and materials in safe, clean, operable condition. Ensure responsible mechanics properly execute all necessary work records.

Coordinate between assigned maintenance personnel and the Inspection Department, delegating duties without relieving overall responsibilities. Requirements

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
  • Experience performing aircraft maintenance tasks
  • Ability to lead and direct up to 18 maintenance employees
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures and records
  • Familiarity with aviation safety regulations and risk management
  • Proficiency in coordinating maintenance and inspection activities
  • Understanding of ground support equipment maintenance

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, layout, and coordinate activities of the assigned Maintenance Department to minimize delays and increase production and efficiency
  • Train and assist subordinates in proper procedures, methods, and practices for each respective duty
  • Maintain work areas, building, ground support equipment, and materials utilized for aircraft maintenance in safe, clean, and operable condition
  • Ensure responsible mechanic properly executes all necessary work records
  • Coordinate between assigned maintenance personnel and the Inspection Department
  • Delegate duties of the Lead Technician while remaining responsible overall
  • Manage Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance
