About this role

We’re looking for motivated, engaged people to help make everyone’s journeys better. The Gate Service Driver drives a modified golf cart on the airport ramp to deliver catering services to airline customers in a timely manner.

The Driver follows all safety procedures when loading and unloading equipment into the warehouse, carts, and aircraft. Multiple tasks must be managed and completed within assigned deadlines while maintaining accurate paperwork.

Work occurs in extreme temperature changes and noise on the ramp. Shifts of eight or more hours require standing, bending, lifting, and moving product and equipment up to fifty pounds, including work up to ten feet in the air.

Flexible hours include weekends, holidays, and mandated overtime. A clean driving record must be maintained and radio communication used to coordinate with supervisors and dispatchers.

Requirements

Current driver’s license and clean driving record required
Complete mandatory Driving Test and AOA training at the airport
Able to work in extreme temperature changes and noise
Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty pounds
Regularly stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours

Responsibilities

Manage and deliver multiple tasks within assigned deadlines
Work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and overtime when mandated
