Team members must be on time, prepared, and safe while working flexible hours that include nights, weekends, and holidays. All training required by the company, airport authority, or customer must be completed.

Requirements

  • Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents, or dangerous occurrences to a manager or supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Guide inbound/outbound airplanes to and from the gate.
  • Transport, lift, load/unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, cargo, and mail in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders, or baggage carts in a safe manner.
  • Safeguard customer baggage, air cargo, and airmail from weather, loss, theft, damage, or destruction.
  • Clean aircraft passenger cabins between flights and stock aircraft with needed supplies.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as pushback equipment while maintaining visual contact with Wing Walkers.
  • Operate motorized equipment including belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, push back tugs, bag carts, lavatory carts, and deicers.
  • Receive and record customer baggage, air freight, mail, and company materials as required.
  • Complete paperwork and forms connected with work assignments and enter data into the company's information system.
