Securitas plays an essential role for clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area.

Perform consistent vehicle patrols across all parking lots and the parking garage. Use a smartphone for all reporting and communication. Conduct foot patrols outdoors in all weather conditions.

Requirements

Must possess a valid Ohio driver’s license
Must have excellent customer service skills
Must pass drug screen and background check
Must meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers
Frequent sitting, standing and walking for long periods, including climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

Perform consistent vehicle patrols across all parking lots and the parking garage
Conduct foot patrols outdoors in all weather conditions
Use a smartphone for all reporting and communication
Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site
Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel
Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for client site
Provide customer service and information to client’s employees and customers
