About this role
As a Customer Service Agent at Southwest Airlines, you'll be the friendly face that welcomes Customers to the airport. Working at the ticket counter, gate area, and baggage service office, you help Customers check in, answer questions, and ensure their travel goes smoothly.
You'll be one of the first Southwest Employees our Customers meet, helping set the tone for a great trip. When travel plans change, you offer support and care during delays or disruptions, making a big difference in a fast-moving environment.
This part-time role typically involves 32 hours over 5 days, with schedules determined through a seniority-based bidding process. New hires complete 4-6 weeks of training to prepare for this dynamic position.

Requirements
- Current resident of the State of Colorado (for external applicants)
- Not interviewed by phone, virtually, or in-person and not selected for the Customer Service Agent position at DEN within the last 12 months
- Ability to work a part-time schedule determined by seniority-based bidding
- Friendly attitude, strong teamwork, and patience in a customer-facing role
- Willingness to complete 4-6 weeks of training
- Ability to work in a fast-paced airport environment with shifting priorities
Responsibilities
- Work at the ticket counter, gate area, and baggage service office to help Customers check in and answer questions
- Make sure each Customer's travel goes smoothly from start to finish
- Set the tone for a great trip as one of the first Southwest Employees Customers meet
- Support Customers when travel plans change by offering help and care during delays or disruptions
- Use your friendly attitude, teamwork, and patience to handle a fast-moving, high-touch environment
