Day-to-day, you'll prepare Air Export shipments by coordinating with vendors, shippers, and internal departments. You'll schedule pickups, manage export documentation, ensure US Export Compliance, and handle email traffic to meet customer service standards. Attention to detail and self-motivation are essential as you dispatch and oversee freight pickups.

Requirements
- Effective interpersonal skills to relate to internal peers at different levels as well as external customers and vendors
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with standard email programs
- Ability to work without constant supervision within a fast-paced work environment
- Self-motivation and strong attention to detail
- A good understanding of Expeditors' Products and Services (will be trained)
- Understanding of documentation process (a plus; will be trained)
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external contacts via verbal and email communication
- Prepare Air Export shipments by scheduling pickups, obtaining correct export paperwork, and reviewing US Export Compliance
- Manage email traffic and ensure all customer standard operating procedures are up to date in Customer SOP
- Dispatch and oversee all customer pickups to ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
- Update and monitor various reporting tools and work boards with accurate and timely data entry into operational systems
- Assist the Air Export manager, supervisors, and leads with Excel data logging and document creation
- Promote compliance by diligently following all company policies and regulations with integrity and pride
