As a Passenger Service Agent at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, you will be the face of United Airlines for travelers beginning their journey.

Your day-to-day involves checking in passengers at the ticket counter and gates, verifying documentation, assigning seats, and checking baggage. You will also host self-service kiosks, interpret identification labels and routing tags, and assist passengers with any issues that arise in the airport environment.

You will work alongside a team that values enthusiasm and a positive attitude, all while adhering to Menzies Aviation uniform guidelines and codes of conduct. The work areas include check-in, lobby, gate, and baggage, and you must keep them organized and functional throughout your shift.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
  • Must be comfortable lifting/moving up to 70lbs of cargo and baggage
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time at the ticket counter and gate check-in areas
  • Must pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs seal
  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Intermediate Computer Skills Required

Responsibilities

  • Assist passengers with check-ins, verification, gate information, baggage claims, and any other passenger issues in the airport
  • Host self-service kiosks and verify passengers’ documents prior to boarding aircraft
  • Interpret identification labels along with baggage and cargo routing tags
  • Ensure that all work areas are organized and functional, including check-in, lobby, gate, and baggage areas
  • Make announcements, check baggage, and assign seats in the gate area
  • Adhere to Menzies Aviation uniform guidelines and codes of conduct
