Our Comox operation is taking flight, providing an amazing opportunity to work with one of our many different airline partners. You will be part of an amazing team of customer service specialists who work together to provide exemplary service.

Our customer service agents create a safe and stress-free experience for travelers. You'll help passengers check-in, support self-serve kiosks, prepare aircraft for on-time departures, and facilitate deplaning and boarding. Additional duties include greeting arriving passengers, enforcing airline policies, and light grooming.

You will work under a supportive Operations Manager and positively collaborate with airline crew. You'll be part of one of Canada's fastest growing ground handling companies, dedicated to your professional growth. The role demands a proven track record of punctuality and reliability in a fast-paced environment where time pressures are a way of life.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years' customer-facing role with a track record of punctuality and reliability
  • Love to multi-task and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Great communicator with demonstrated computer proficiency
  • Completion or working towards completion of Travel and Tourism Diploma, Marketing or Business Diploma
  • Flexible availability to work shift work including early mornings, days, late evenings, weekends and/or holidays
  • Ability to meet conditions of employment including a criminal background check
  • Physical ability to consistently lift up to 70lbs/32kgs

Responsibilities

  • Helping passengers check-in
  • Supporting self-serve kiosks
  • Preparing aircraft for on-time departures
  • Facilitating deplaning and boarding of passengers
  • Greeting passengers arriving from flights
  • Following airline specific check-in policies and procedures
  • Positively working with airline crew
  • Kindly enforcing airline and airport policies and procedures to passengers
