As a Passenger Service Agent with G2 Secure Staff at Boston Logan International Airport, you will be the first point of contact for travelers, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from check-in to boarding. Your day-to-day responsibilities include greeting passengers, monitoring ticket counter and self-service check-in queues, and assisting with the ticketing, boarding, and baggage service processes. You will also provide general flight information, direct passengers to gates, and handle special services such as courtesy chairs and bag carts as needed.

Working alongside airline personnel and security staff, you will help maintain a clean, organized terminal area and ensure that all interactions are handled with tact and confidentiality. You will also be responsible for directing oversized luggage and other checked articles to the appropriate handling area, and referring any difficult situations to the security supervisor.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Computer experience necessary
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a working telephone number and reliable transportation
  • Must be able to stand or walk in the terminal area throughout the scheduled shift
  • Must be able to consistently push, pull, and lift 50 to 70 lbs
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests and complete a criminal background check

Responsibilities

  • Greet passengers, clients, and airline personnel in a courteous and professional manner
  • Monitor ticket counter and self-service check-in queue activity
  • Assist with the ticketing and boarding process, gates, and baggage service
  • Provide general information to passengers, including directions and flight information
  • Provide special services such as courtesy chairs and bag carts as required
  • Direct large pieces of luggage, pets, and other checked articles too large for the baggage handling system to oversize
  • Summon the security supervisor and refer difficult or uncooperative passengers to security
  • Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas and maintain cleanliness of the immediate work area
