About this role

At SIXT the Customer Service Agent serves as the primary point of contact for airport rental customers. The role centers on vehicle management and creating smooth rental experiences from arrival through departure.

Daily work includes welcoming customers, gathering feedback, checking vehicles for damage, and directing maintenance issues to the right teams. Agents also advise on charges and issue accurate receipts while working in all weather conditions.

The position operates within SIXT’s global mobility platform that includes rent, share, ride, and subscription services. Team members support a fleet of hundreds of thousands of vehicles across more than 2,000 locations worldwide.

Flexible scheduling and defined career paths allow agents to grow within operations, fleet control, or customer experience functions at the airport.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience
  • At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Basic computer navigation skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to work 40 hours per week including day or evening shifts and open to 5-10% travel, some by airplane
  • Willing to wear a company uniform; speaking other languages is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Welcome all customers upon arrival and gather feedback to improve their future rental experience
  • Ensure customers take all personal belongings, discreetly check vehicles for damage, and direct issues to the appropriate channels
  • Advise customers on rental charges and provide an accurate receipt
  • Identify and tag vehicles for maintenance or grounding and ensure they are moved to the correct location
  • Work in various weather conditions and take on additional tasks to support business needs
