As a Part-Time Ramp Agent with United Ground Express, you handle baggage, cargo, and aircraft servicing at the Savannah airport. Day-to-day duties include ascending jet-way stairs with baggage, bending to stack cargo, and cleaning aircraft interiors and lavatories. You read load sheets, baggage tags, and labels to prepare aircraft for flights. Ground operations require using radios to communicate with crew and coworkers.

Work outdoors in all weather conditions, operating in a fast-paced airport environment. Shifts vary, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Physical stamina is key for tasks in tight spaces and handling over 100 items per aircraft.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Must acquire and maintain airport credentials including fingerprint clearance and background check
Successful completion of pre-employment process including drug screen, hearing and vision check
Available to work any shift including day/night, weekends, holidays, and overtime
Able to carry, bend, lift and turn with items weighing up to 70 lbs.
Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
