Unifi Aviation is seeking a Ramp Agent to support Delta Air Lines operations at Fairbanks International Airport (FAI). This part-time position involves essential ground handling duties to ensure safe and efficient aircraft turnaround.

As a Ramp Agent, you will load and unload aircraft cargo and baggage, service aircraft with potable water and lavatory services, and guide aircraft into parking positions. You will also direct ground traffic and operate ground support equipment as needed.

Work is performed outdoors on the airport ramp in all weather conditions, including Fairbanks' extreme cold. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, and overnight.

This part-time role offers a base pay rate of $18.00 per hour with shifts available across the week, including start times at 12:00 PM. The schedule provides flexibility for those seeking supplemental income or a work-life balance.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 70 pounds
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Flexibility to work various shifts including overnight, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

Loads and unloads aircraft cargo and baggage
Services aircraft including potable water and lavatory services
Guides aircraft into parking positions using marshaling signals
Directs ground traffic and vehicles on the ramp
Operates ground support equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and pushback tractors
Performs aircraft safety checks and secures cargo
Communicates with flight crew and ramp team via radio
