The Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Screening role delivers flexible, dependable hours at an assigned site.

This position features a fixed-shift commitment as your reliable base schedule, requiring a six-month commitment. Earn more through the Claim-A-Shift program by picking up extra shifts via the scheduling platform. Scale from part-time to up to 40 hours per week as needed.

Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies. Monitor access at entry points, respond to incidents calmly, and conduct patrols around perimeters and parking areas. Support loss prevention by observing traffic and maintaining accurate logs.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Qualified applications with criminal histories considered consistent with applicable laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and control access at entry and exit points by checking credentials, confirming authorization, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas, including the building perimeter, access points, parking areas, and receiving or shipping zones.
  • Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing inbound and outbound traffic, helping to deter unauthorized access, and maintaining accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
