The role involves Line Service and Aircraft Maintenance on a fleet of vintage aircraft for U.S. and international flights. Daily tasks include maintaining aircraft through cleaning, fueling, towing, and connecting ground support equipment for air conditioning, heating, and power. Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections, service fuel and oil tanks, and stand fire watch during engine starts. Ensure aircraft systems and interiors are ready for dispatch while launching and recovering aircraft.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 5+ years related experience working in aircraft maintenance
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
  • Knowledge of safety practices in handling highly combustible and explosive fuels
  • Willing to travel to offsite locations 50% of the time
  • Ability to travel multiple days to South Texas on moment’s notice
  • Ability to react quickly and with good judgment in stressful situations
  • Ability to obtain a Valid U.S. Passport

Responsibilities

  • Maintain aircraft preparedness including cleaning, fueling, and towing
  • Conduct thorough annual and unscheduled inspections, maintenance, and repairs on vintage aircraft models
  • Service aircraft fuel and oil tanks as directed by maintenance manager or flight crew
  • Tow aircraft in and out of the hangar
  • Connect ground support equipment for air conditioning, heating, and power
  • Stand fire watch with fire extinguisher during aircraft engine starts
  • Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure dispatchability
  • Ensure compliance with Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins
