Covenant Aviation Security hires full-time and part-time Security Officers at Orlando International Airport. Officers handle day-to-day security screening and access control for airport employees and individuals at screening locations and access points. Duties ensure safety through professional execution and cutting-edge equipment use.
Work occurs in airport terminal buildings, outdoor locations, ramp areas, and near aircraft, exposing personnel to all weather conditions. Schedules require flexibility, including day, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts with no hour guarantees. Reliable transportation is essential for varying assignments.

Requirements
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to obtain Florida Class D Security License
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must read, write and speak English proficiently
- Must pass a verifiable background check, including criminal, employment, education, and personal references
- Must possess valid state-issued Driver's License or a valid state-Issued I.D. card
- Must pass pre-employment/annual/random drug screenings
- Must be able to work flexible and changing schedules, including all shifts
Responsibilities
- Identify dangerous objects and prevent those objects from being transported through screening locations
- Carry out duties in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional customer service
- Use diverse, cutting-edge electronic detection and imaging equipment
- Perform metal detection searches, pat down searches, and operation of x-ray machines
- Conduct physical searches of property and other identification reviews as needed
- Execute additional security-related duties to ensure safety to the traveling public
- Screen passengers, baggage, cargo, and employees at access points
- Conduct external and internal airport patrols
