About this role
Enterprise Mobility operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo brands as the largest privately owned automotive rental company in North America. The National/Alamo brand seeks a Customer Service Agent to deliver superior, friendly service throughout the rental car process at LaGuardia Airport.
The agent greets customers, verifies reservations, prepares rental documents, and assists with vehicle exchanges and returns. Attention stays focused on each customer while reviewing rates, charges, and return times to ensure complete understanding.
Work occurs at the airport location with multiple available schedules that include weekend and evening coverage. The role supports smooth operations by resolving issues fairly and providing local area information and directions.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Minimum of 1 year prior customer service retail or administrative support experience
- Valid, unrestricted U.S. driver's license
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- Able to work at least one of the listed schedules apart from religious observation
Responsibilities
- Greets and answers customer questions and provides assistance based on each customer’s needs and requests.
- Identifies and attends to the customer by name, verifies rental agreement and reservation.
- Ensures a pleasant, smooth and efficient handling of the rental for each customer by assisting in the exchange and return vehicle processes.
- Works on behalf of the customer and the company to resolve issues in a fair and equitable manner.
- Prepares all rental and return documents accurately and completely.
- Reviews rental parameters with all customers to ensure a complete understanding of rates and service charges.
- Reviews all charges at the time of vehicle return and assists to assess condition of rental upon return.
