In this role, you will greet and assist customers, prepare documentation before flight arrival or departure, and travel to the Airport Operational Area to meet flights and retrieve or drop off documents. You will notify brokers or freight forwarders on the Master Airway Bill of shipment arrivals and collect appropriate charges.

Our team of cargo, passenger, ramp handling, and technical service experts operates across 164 airport locations in 18 countries on 5 continents. You will work closely with TSA and customs procedures, maintaining security diligence under airport police and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess a clean driving record and valid driver's license.
  • Must provide proof of legal right to work in the United States.
  • Typing skills with ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm.
  • English proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
  • Mental abilities including visual observation, identification, and mental rotation.
  • Interpersonal skills such as customer service and dependability.
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic and work values including responsibility, honesty, and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare documentation prior to flight arrival or departure, including review, organization, copying, and distribution.
  • Travel to the Airport Operational Area (AOA) to meet flights and retrieve or deliver flight documents.
  • Notify brokers or freight forwarders on the Master Airway Bill (MAWB) of shipment arrival or hold status.
  • Collect appropriate charges and document method of payment from customers.
  • Process 'Customs Out' (proof of delivery) for every transaction before the customer’s departure.
  • Data capture AWB information into airline systems and manifest flights based on warehouse information.
  • Print flight manifest, cargo pallet message, deadload, and NOTOC, then deliver to the aircraft.
  • Verify post-flight inventory against documents on hand and maintain file records of all pertinent documents.
