
About this role
Performs a variety of over-the-counter customer service, administrative, and clerical duties requiring direct and indirect customer interface. Assists customers by tracing packages, answering questions about FedEx products and services, and providing over-the-counter service at the station.
This role involves maintaining and auditing records and files, including airway bills, and completing administrative tasks for frontline operations such as data entry, ramp, sort, trace, dispatch, and local customer service. Other duties may be required as assigned.

Requirements
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Previous clerical or customer service experience in a service environment.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Planning and organizing skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Average general office skills including light typing, filing, and computer literacy.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver any single package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of over-the-counter customer service, administrative, and clerical duties requiring direct and indirect customer interface.
- Assist customers by tracing packages, answering questions regarding FedEx products and services, and providing over-the-counter service.
- Answer station phone lines and take information for pickups.
- Maintain and audit all records and files as assigned, including auditing airway bills and records.
- Complete administrative tasks and coordination relating to frontline operations, which may include data entry, ramp activities, sort activities, trace activities, dispatch activities, and local customer service.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
