About this role

The Technician completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC and other equipment, systems or structures. This role supports ABM's aviation sector services at airport and ground-side operations. It suits those entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience.

Daily tasks include ensuring repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities. Respond to spills and other emergency situations, performing janitorial and maintenance tasks as necessary. Assist in client, site or customer emergencies as needed.

Work Monday-Friday from 7:00AM-3:30PM EST with pay at $28.00 per hour, varying by experience, skills, abilities, location and market data. ABM is military and veteran friendly, encouraging applicants with MOS codes like 91E, 91C, EM, HT, MK, DC, 1161, 1341, 3E1X1.

Responsibilities

Complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC and other equipment, systems or structures
Ensure repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities
Respond to spills and other emergency situations, performing janitorial and maintenance tasks as necessary
Assist in client, site or customer emergencies as needed
Perform repairs on airport baggage conveyor systems
Troubleshoot electrical and HVAC systems in terminal facilities
Conduct inspections of mechanical and plumbing components
