Ramp Operations Team members play a crucial part in processing passenger baggage and aircraft turnaround for seamless operations. You will handle aircraft arrival, onloading and offloading baggage, and departure processes daily. Expect to sort outbound baggage accurately and efficiently while operating ground service equipment.

Work closely with your team and colleagues from other departments to deliver positive passenger journeys. Fully embody the Airport's 'One Team' culture, undertaking other activities to support business needs. Operate outdoors in all weather conditions on shifts covering early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong written and verbal communicator
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience operating GSE is not essential but advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Handle all aircraft turnaround processes, including aircraft arrival, onloading and offloading baggage, and aircraft departure
  • Accurately and efficiently sort outbound passenger baggage
  • Operate ground service equipment
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance and cleaning works to the equipment and operational area
  • Work with team and colleagues from other departments to provide passengers with a positive journey
  • Work outside in all weather conditions
  • Fully embody the Airport’s ‘One Team’ culture and undertake other activities to support business needs
  • Work any shift during 24/7 operating hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays
