About this role

We are seeking an experienced Multiskilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to lead and execute complex maintenance tasks across our airport facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks to keep our facilities safe and functional. This role requires a proactive approach and strong technical skills.

Day-to-day duties include advanced troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and building systems. You will respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards while maintaining detailed records of all activities.

Collaboration is key as you work with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to uphold quality and safety standards. You will also mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and training as needed in a secure airport environment requiring a TS/SCI clearance.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance to be considered; must be able to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph prior to starting.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive experience in facilities maintenance or a related technical role.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs in multiple trades.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and building systems.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, incident reports, and equipment histories.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency maintenance situations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure quality and safety standards.
  • Manage ordering, shipping, and receiving all facility supplies and materials.
  • Mentor and support junior technicians, providing guidance and training as needed.
