Lanai Air delivers high quality-high touch consistent service experience to every guest traveling between the Hawaiian Islands. It provides seamless point-to-point delivery. The Ramp Service Agent maintains overall cleanliness of aircraft, vehicles, and ground equipment used in operations.
This role handles aircraft arrival and departure processes, including cargo and baggage acceptance, loading, and offloading. Ramp Service Agents also manage guest transportation and participate in ground services as guests transition through interisland airports. Safety of guests and assets remains utmost importance.
Ramp Service Agents report to the Ramp Operations Manager in Honolulu and Assistant Guest Service Manager on neighbor islands. They coordinate with Lanai Air Guest Service Agents, System Operation and Reservation Coordinators, plus Western Aircraft crew and maintenance team. Communication ensures smooth and safe operations.
Team members uphold quality standards by conducting affairs ethically and legally, fostering supportive environments, building communication links, striving for excellence, complying with policies, and aligning with Pūlama Lānaʻi Mission, Vision, and Values.
Requirements
- Ensure safety of guests and assets is adhered to at all times
- Maintain effective communication with logistics coordinators, Western Aircraft crew, and maintenance team
- Report any discrepancies to supervisor promptly
- Continually keep work areas clean and organized
- Utilize support equipment in a safe manner to accomplish tasks
- Assist with transporting guests between airport, lounge, and aircraft using vehicle or golf cart
- Conduct business in alignment with Pūlama Lānaʻi Mission, Vision, and Values
- Comply with all company policies and standards
Responsibilities
- Clean and wash the interior and exterior of aircraft, vehicles, and equipment
- Wash windows and clean tires of aircraft, vehicles, and equipment
- Polish the exterior of aircraft, vehicles, and equipment
- Vacuum interior upholstery and dust and polish wood work
- Clean dust and dirt out of controls in cockpit
- Position and tow aircraft to meet flight operations and maintenance requirements
- Provide aircraft marshaling using hand signals to safely maneuver into and out of parking
- Handle baggage and cargo loading and offloading for inbound and outbound aircraft
