The Director oversees all guest service ground activities and day-to-day operations at Breeze airports. This role provides leadership and motivation to teams while ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient operations, reporting to the Chief Guest Officer.

Oversee Breeze’s growing network of over 13 bases and 85 stations total, monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly performance. Develop strategic and tactical safety plans fostering a safety-conscious environment for Team Members, Guests, and facilities. Coordinate across Flight Ops, Inflight Service, and Technical Operations to meet company goals.

Lead Regional Managers (RMs), General Managers (GMs), and Area Managers (AMs) with individualized development plans and talent reviews. Establish a high-performance culture via coaching, clear expectations, and accountability. Drive operational excellence, safety, and customer experience standards across all stations.

Manage project oversight for new contracts and cities, ensuring regulatory compliance and business continuity. Resolve Guest issues and ensure business partners reflect the Breeze brand. Align with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership in overseeing airport ground operations and guest services
  • Expertise in aviation safety programs and regulatory compliance including FAA standards
  • Experience managing multi-station networks and business partners in airline operations
  • Strong skills in emergency response, irregular operations, and crisis resolution
  • Ability to develop strategic plans for operational efficiency, cost savings, and performance metrics
  • Track record in talent development, coaching leaders, and building succession pipelines
  • Knowledge of cross-functional coordination with Flight Ops, Inflight, and Technical teams
  • Project management experience with station stand-ups and infrastructure implementation

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Breeze’s growing network of stations, including over 13 bases and 85 stations in total
  • Develop and execute safety programs ensuring a safe workplace for Team Members, Guests, business partners, aircraft, ground service equipment, and facilities
  • Monitor stations closely, including daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and reviews
  • Develop and execute local strategic plans for industry-leading operational and customer service performance
  • Ensure coordination across departments impacting airport operations to achieve goals
  • Drive development of RMs, GMs, and AMs through individualized plans and succession pipeline
  • Establish high-performance culture with coaching, expectations, and accountability
  • Direct station audits, regulatory compliance, and project management for new contracts and cities
