About this role

As a Passenger Service Agent, you'll ensure traveling customers are well-informed from check-in and bag drop to boarding gates and arrivals. Following safety, security, and airline-specific procedures, you'll put customer needs at the heart of everything. This customer-facing role focuses on providing first-class service to each traveler.

Handle customer interactions with class at ticket counters and gates in an efficient, professional manner. Make reservations, issue tickets, compute fares, check baggage, and collect excess charges. Patiently address concerns and complaints regarding ticketing and baggage handling.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of flight schedules, fares, and passenger travel information
  • Proficiency in ticketing, reservations, baggage checking, and fare computation
  • Skill in handling lost baggage tracing, claims, and dangerous goods procedures
  • Professional demeanor for efficient customer interactions at counters and gates

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service as per AGI and airline specific standards
  • Ensure safety and security is never compromised
  • Handle customer interaction with class at the ticket counter and gate
  • Make and assist with reservations, preparation, and issuance of tickets and itineraries
  • Patiently and empathetically handle customer concerns and complaints regarding ticketing and baggage
  • Knowledgeably answer inquiries regarding flight schedules, fares, and general travel information
  • Meet aircraft at gate, check passenger tickets and documents, and accommodate reservations and luggage
  • Determine flight close-out time and complete post-departure procedures
