Join the team behind every smooth departure at Nelson Airport. As an Aircraft Service Agent, you’ll play an important role behind the scenes, helping deliver safe, on-time journeys for customers every day.

This part time, 6-month fixed term opportunity involves working both indoors and outdoors alongside a variety of aircraft and ground equipment. No two shifts are the same as you support the smooth turnaround of flights.

Requirements

Must be entitled to live and work permanently in New Zealand (NZ/AU Citizen or NZ Permanent Resident)
Full or Restricted New Zealand Drivers Licence
Experience working in a physically demanding role, ideally within a safety-focused environment
Strong work ethic and motivation to deliver the best outcome for customers and colleagues
Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines

Responsibilities

Safely load and unload baggage to support on-time aircraft departures and arrivals
Clean aircraft interiors to ensure a welcoming experience for every customer
Work closely with team members to keep airport operations running smoothly and efficiently
Operate in a safety-conscious environment, following procedures and prioritising care at every step
Adapt to changing flight schedules, operational priorities, and weather conditions
Work in and around smaller Q300 and ATR aircraft, including tight spaces and physically active environments
